What are the benefits of an internship:
1. You may widen your workshop skills in counseling and psychotherapy of adults under the supervision of an experienced clinician.

Upcoming edition of the internship program PSYCHOLOGIST PRACTITIONER starts in October 2016
(if a group of minimum 10 people will be set up).
During the training sessions we put emphasis on the practical side of knowledge without forgetting the importance of the theoretical basis.

Theoretical classes:
• psychopathology (personality disorders, depression, neurosis, phobias, eating disorders, addictions)
• psychological diagnosis
• methods and techniques of therapeutic work with the patient
• types of psychotherapy adults
• the role of psychotherapy in the treatment of mental disorders
• ethical dilemmas in psychotherapy
• psychoeducation

Practical classes:
• studies of clinical cases
• simulation of therapeutic work – sessions of group therapy and individual psychotherapy recorded on the camera, the analysis of the strengths and weaknesses of conduct psychotherapy sessions
• elements of psychodrama complementary and stimulating work psychotherapeutic
• difficult situations with patients – what to do, how it worked in favor of therapeutic work?
• therapeutic relationship as an area of diagnosis and therapy
• rules of a setting
• verbal interventions in a therapy
• work with the transfer, countertransference, resistance, defense mechanisms
• acting out
• group psychotherapy/ phenomena of the therapeutic process in the group

Internship program PSYCHOLOGIST PRACTITIONER includes 100h hours of theoretical and practical exercises.
Participation in clinical training costs 1395 euro.
Tutor- Magda Górzyńska – Master of Psychology, graduated in Psychotherapy in the United States, has a license of psychotherapist published by the American Psychiatric Association .

The aim of the internship is to help young psychologists / future psychologists to start practice oriented to help adults. Permanent and free contact with the guide gives trainees the opportunity to ask questions and dismantle their concerns on a regular basis.
